Key Components of RRE Programming:

  • You do not need to already be an experienced runner! If you’re new, welcome to the running world. We’ve got you.
  • While our expertise is with trail running, we welcome whatever “kind” of runner you are or desire to be, seeking whatever goal.
  • Every plan is built for the individual. There are no copy/paste or pre-filled templates here. Whether you’re attempting a 5K, 50K, 100 Miles, a 7-mile FKT route, or just want to feel strong and stable in your running life, we craft your program for YOU.
  • Depending on your goals, we may recommend strength training, cross-training, or mobility work to enhance or accommodate your programming.
  • You are a whole being. We seek to understand the whole picture: your stress levels, how much sleep you’re getting, work-life balance, where you’re currently at with running, how you’re fueling your runs, what other activities you do, and what your self-talk is like when things get hard. All of these aspects and more affect the success of any program.
  • If training for a race, the farther out the race, the better, but we will still consider helping you prepare even if there isn’t much time left. This might solicit a different kind of coaching (more big-picture, mentorship-based), but still, please ask, and we can see what is possible.
  • If we aren’t a good fit, that’s ok! We appreciate the chance to figure out what may or may not work for you. No shame in wanting something else. Please refer to the Policies page for more info on cancellation and refunds.
  • If you come from a marginalized community and are financially limited, please indicate so in your message to us. We would love to discuss how we can either accommodate your budget or help you find special programs from other organizations. For example, we keep tabs on grants and opportunities from the Running Industry Diversity Coalition and from Tierra Libre Run, and you should, too!
